Roshana's Words
"Please pray for me. I want to walk, play, and be like every child."
Roshana was born to parents struggling with drug addiction and came into her adoptive family's care with severe health complications. Alongside a serious lung condition, she was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy and couldn't walk until she was four years old.
Years of rehabilitation helped her take her first steps, but she now urgently needs Achilles tendon surgery before starting school. After the operation, she will face months of intensive physiotherapy to regain her mobility and continue the progress she fought so hard to achieve.
Roshana at a glance
At birth
Roshana was born to parents struggling with drug addiction and came into her adoptive family's care with severe health complications, including a serious lung condition.
Early childhood
She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Her muscles remained tight and shortened, and she was unable to walk.
Age four
After long, patient rehabilitation with her family beside her, Roshana took her first steps โ a milestone doctors were not certain she would reach.
Today
Walking has become painful and unstable again. Her Achilles tendons are too tight, and doctors have recommended surgery before she starts school.
What comes next
Surgery, followed by months of intensive physiotherapy, so she can walk more confidently and begin school with her classmates.
How We Want to Help
Your support will help fund Roshana's surgery and intensive rehabilitation, giving her the chance to walk confidently and begin school with hope and independence.
The care plan
Roshana's treatment is a path, not a single moment. Every stage is coordinated with her family and local medical partners.
Specialist consultations and pre-operative checks to confirm she is ready for surgery.
A procedure to release the shortened tendons so her feet can rest flat and she can bear weight properly.
Post-operative care, casting and close medical follow-up during the first weeks of healing.
Months of regular sessions to rebuild strength, balance and confidence in walking.
Mobility aids and continued follow-up so Roshana can attend school like every other child.
We publish no estimated totals we cannot yet verify. Costs are confirmed directly with the treating medical team, and donations to this campaign are directed to Roshana's surgery, recovery and rehabilitation.
